Vertec Adventure started in 1996 (formally known as Intensity Climbing Technology and Vertec Climbing Walls) and has continued to grow in safety, professionalism and a passion to bring adventure to young people. The business started with portable climbing walls and at the time they were the only portable walls in Queensland.
The business has developed since then and now have the tallest portable wall in the world, with 8 ropes and over 10 climbs. Vertec Adventure has also expanded its operations to include more roped activities such as guided climbing and abseiling on natural surfaces, high and low rope courses.
Recently we have expanded our canoe, bushwalking and orienteering programs to provide a broader range of activities for school and church groups.
We also coordinate games, team - building and initiative activities to challenge groups and bring desirable outcomes in a broad range of circumstances.
Our qualified instructors have received training through organizations such as:-
The Outlook School of Outdoor Recreation
ACIA (Australian Climbing Instructors Association)
Queensland Canoeing (A division of Australia Canoe)
